Rhonda Louise Clements

October 2, 1963 — March 17, 2013

Rhonda Louise Clements left the bonds of this earth & walked into the embrace of her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 17, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Cullwell officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-7 PM Tuesday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Gardens following the services.

Rhonda was born October 2, 1963 in Clifton, TX to Cinda Stewart Long & William Long. She was a 1982 graduate of Snyder High School and was an 18 year employee of The State of Texas Department Board of Pardons and Paroles. She married Robert Clements on May 27, 1983 at Bethel Baptist Church in Snyder.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her mother, Cinda Long and a brother, James Elvin Long.

She is survived by her husband Robert Clements of Snyder; A daughter & Son in Law, Bethany & Ryan Vela of Midland, TX; and one grandson, (the love of her life) Owen Vela of Midland. She is also survived by her father, William long of Ft.Worth, TX, a sister; Jackie Cotton of Arlington, TX, and a brother and sister in law; Michael and Lacey Long of Billings, MT, and sister in law and husband, Beverly Mirracle and husband Jerry of Killeen, TX. She also leaves behind 3 nephews, Calvin Long, Joseph Long, and Wyatt Hurst and 4 nieces, Ashley Long, Alyssa Cotton, Amanda Long, and Dana Mirracle. Also surviving are her 3 aunts, Carolyn Faulkenbery of Snyder, Debbie Wilson of Ada, OK, and Pat Carroll of Abilene, TX, and 2 uncles, Joe Stewart of Snyder and Jeff Stewart of Comanche, TX; many cousins & countless dear friends.

Pallbearers will be her cousins.

Rhonda had a faith in Jesus Christ that was unshakable. Even when facing the battle of her life, her belief never waivered and her spirit never faltered. She was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her, and she will be sorely missed by all.
