Clarence Weldon Payne

Clarence Weldon Payne age 89 of Snyder, TX, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at VA Medical Center in Big Spring, Texas after a sudden illness.

Services for Mr. Payne will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM at 37th Street Church of Christ with Mr. Dale Huff officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Payne was born on June 12, 1924 in Hill County, TX to Cecil Elbert and Neal Elizabeth (Stedman) Payne. He married Earline Tow on May 06, 1944 in Colorado City, Texas. Clarence was an Army veteran having served in WWII. He worked in the oilfield as a pumper and after retiring he worked as a realtor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Zane Payne, and one sister Pauline Crawford.

Visitation will be Friday, June 21, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
