Robert Lee Stanfield

Robert Lee ""Bob"" Stanfield age 86 of Snyder, TX, died Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder after a lengthy illness.

Memorial services for Mr. Stanfield will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Mr. Dale Huff officiating under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Stanfield was born on January 27, 1927 in Franklin, Missouri to Bill and Daisy (Cramer) Stanfield. He married Marie Larose on August 20, 1948. She preceded him in death on February 6, 2004. Bob was superintendant of International Shoe Company in Marshall, Missouri for many years before moving to Snyder in 1971. He was co-owner of Thomas-Stanfield Chrysler Dealership in Snyder before retiring. Bob was a licensed pilot and employed at Winston Field where he mentored many people earning their pilots license. He was proud of the 10, 000 hours he had flown. Bob had also worked at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home for several years.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and one great grandson, Benjamin Twyman.
