D.B. Lyle

Douglas Browning Lyle age 92 of Snyder, TX, died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Luman-Lusk-Sanchez VA Home in Big Spring, Texas after a lengthy/brief illness.

Services for D. B. Lyle will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 10 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Mike Dennis officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Lyle was born on March 13, 1921 in McCloud, OK to Arthur and Elma (Staley) Lyle. He joined the Army Air Corp in 1940 for 6 yrs of active service, retiring from the Air Force Reserves in 1982. Early in his adult life, he was a 3rd generation cotton gin owner. D.B. later became the former owner of Snyder Lanes. Among the things he enjoyed included car collecting, shooting hand guns, bowling, crosswords, coin collecting and golf.

Blake, Magan, Caleb and Shelby Lyle of Harper, TX

Buddy Adams and wife Christie of Snyder, TX


He was preceded in death by his parents
Two brothers; Arthur Chester Lyle and Milton Kendal Lyle
One twin sister, Alice Cary

Visitation will be Monday, July 29, 2013 from 6PM to 7PM at the funeral home.
