Douglas Norman Bachus

Mr. Norman Bachus age 89 of Snyder, TX, died Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, Texas after a brief illness.

Services for Bachus will be held on Tuesday October 1, 2013 at 2 O'clock PM at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Bachus was born on Thursday, February 21, 1924 in Cross Plains, TX. to James Lafayette and Edna Mae (Pierce) Bachus. He married Lovie Beuford Frazier on August 10,1955 in Wink, TX. She preceded him in death on July 19,1968. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII during the Normandy Invasion and a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by:
(1) Daughter - Roxanne Stoker and husband Don , Snyder, TX
(1) Sister - Melba Balwick, Colorado
(3) Grandchildren
Grand Son - Colby Stoker, Austin, TX
Grand Daughter - Bailey Stoker, Lubbock, TX
Grand Son - Justin Stoker and wife Bridgette, Converse, TX
