Flo Etta Rasco

Flo Etta Rasco age 87 of Snyder, TX, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at her residence in Snyder, Texas after a brief illness.

Services for Flo Rasco will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rasco was born on September 10, 1926 in Marion County, AL. to Willie and Lena (Austin) Howard. She married Virgil Rasco on October 31, 1949 in Lovington, NM. He preceed in death on September 9, 2004.

They operated grocery stores in Ira and Dunn and opened the first pizza parlor in Snyder in the early 1970's. She was most known as a housewife and was Mamma Flo to everyone.

She is survived by:
Daughter Susie White and husband Doug of Snyder, TX
Son William Rasco and wife Alicia of Snyder, OK
Step Daughter Karolyn Robertson of Rhome, TX

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, son; Kenneth Wayne Rasco, two sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be Friday, October 18, 2013 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Lunch will be served at Ira Church of God at 11:30AM on Saturday.
