Charles Teague Sr. 86, former longtime Snyder resident died Saturday, June 27, 2010 at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo.
Funeral service for Mr. Teague will be at 12 Noon, Saturday, July 3rd in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Pastor Cathy McCorkle, Christoval First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
He was born on September 3, 1923, in Lorenzo, TX. He was in the U. S. Navy from 1942 - 1945, serving in the Pacific Theatre.
Married to Dorothy Faye (Pettitt) Teague on July 4, 1947 in Big Spring. She preceded him on February 14, 1987. He later married Lois Greer. She passed away Septemer 10, 1997.
Mr Teague was a retired pumper/production foreman. He worked for P. R. Rutherford Oil Company for 18 years and Union Oil of California for 17 years, retiring in 1986. He had lived in Snyder from 1970 until 2008 when he moved to San Angelo.
He was a Mason and member of Staked Plains Lodge 598 in Big Spring.
