Funeral service for Johnnie M Weemes, 98 ,of Fort Worth, TX and a former longtime Snyder resident will be at 10 Friday at Fluvanna Cemetery with Rev. Mark Cook officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral home.
Miss Weemes died on Tuesday July 13th, 2010 at the Wedgewood Nursing Home in Fort Worth,TX
She was born on April 10, 1912, in Scurry County, TX to the late John and Mattie (Manley) Weemes. She had lived her life in Scurry County and Snyder until moving to Fort Worth in 1999. She had worked many years in the cafeterias of the Snyder Independent School. many of her summer vacations were spent working the Buffalo Trails Boy Scout Camp in the Davis Mountains. She was a Presbyterian . She was the last of eight sibblings.
