Funeral service for Mrs Eva Lee Britton, 84 of Snyder will be at 2PM Wednesday at the Avenue D. Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Day, pastor of First Baptist Church, Tatum NM and Rev. Cliff Phillips, Pastor Avenue D. Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
She died at 12:00 AM, on Monday, July 26, 2010 at Kristi Lee Manor in Colorado City, TX
She was born to the late Robert Earl and Lela Mae (Curtis) Plunk on July 10, 1926 in Kilbourne, LA
Married to Harold Britton, Sr. on July 15, 1944 in Louisiana. He preceded her in death in 1989.

Mrs. Britton was a 30 year resident of Post before moving to in 1985. She worked for Burlington Industries for some 17 years as a seamstress. She was a former member of Knapp Baptist Church, where her late husband was pastor and then later Avenue Avenue D. Baptist Church.
She is survived by:
3 Daughters:
Barbara Odom & husband Daniel of Snyder, Texas
Debra Sifford and husband Earl of Warner Robins, Ga.

A daughter in law, Lana Britton of Snyder.
Elizabeth Dotson of Snyder, Texas

William C. Plunk of Altadena CA.
Wayne Plunk of Of Florida
Ronnie Plunk of Winnsboro, La.

10 Grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

preceded by a son, Son-Harold Britton, Jr. in June of 2008 and also 2 brothers Ronnie Plunk and Jack Plunk and 1 sister Janet Porter.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 PM Tuesday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
