Funeral mass for Salome G. Barerra, 69 ,of Snyder, TX will be at 10 Am Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Roy Badillas officiating. Interment will follow in Hillisde Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home
A rosary will be said at 7Pm Friday at Bell-Cypert-Seale
Mr. Barerra passed away Wednesday, at the Lubbock Heart Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born to the late Manuel and Theodora(Guerrero) Barerra May 10, 1941, in Bastrop, TX
Married to Alicia Rocha on November 20, 1965 in Colorado City, TX.
Mr Barerra was a longtime resident of Snyder and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe where he served as a deacon for over 30 years. He retired from AMOCO pipeline where he worked as a gauger. He also volunteered at Western Texas College to assist students in reading and obtaining their GED.
