Vera Haley Farr

Vera Haley Farr, 90 of Colorado City, and former longtime Hermleigh resident died on Tuesday at Kristi Lee Manor in Colorado City, Texas.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Farr will be at 2PM Friday at Pyron Cemetery with Rev. Mike Foster, pastor of the 1st Assembly of God Church in Colorado City. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Fu neral Home.

Born February 21, 1920 in Loraine, Texas to the late Charles B. and Geneva (Morgan) Martin. She was married to Jim Farr on July 16, 1938 in Floydada. He preceded her in death on August 22, 1977 She was a housewife. Mrs. Farr was a Camp Follower, following Mr. Farr from camp to camp while he was in training.She was also a dedicated Hermleigh Cardinal and Dallas Cowboy fan. She was the past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star lodge #974.

Surviving are son and daughter in law; Larry & Susan Farr, sister and brother in law, Lois & Carl Piper of Clyde, TX.

She was preceded in death by 3 sisters , 5 brothers

Visitation will b e from 6 to 8 Thurs
