William Franklin Covey

William Franklin "Bill" Covey, , age 60, of Snyder, TX, died Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, TX after a sudden illness. Services fro Mr. Covey will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday at the First Presybyterian Church., with Rev. Fane Downs officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale funeral home.

Mr. Covey was a lifetime resident of Snyder. He was born on June 20, 1950 to the late John Russell and Mabel Elizabeth (Knight) Covey. He graduated from Snyder High School in 1968. He received his bachelors degree in accounting from Stephen F. Austin University in 1976. At the time of his death he was an accountant for the maintenance department for the Texas Department of Justice in Colorado City. He was married to Danita Beccue on March 16, 1998 in Fluvanna. He was an elder at the First Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife Danita Covey of the home; two sons,
Russell Covey, New Braunfels, TX , Jarrod Covey, College Station: Two step daughters: Jackie Beccue of San Marcos and Jacy Beccue of Austin; two brothers and sisters in law: Bob and Kathleen Covey of Houston and Chris and Colleen Covey of Angola Africa; two sisters-in-law, Renetta Collier and Lorinda Hardin both of Snyder.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 PM Monday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
