Bobby W. Burnett, 75, of Snyder Texas passed away Tuesday, September 28th in Conroe Texas.
Visitation for family and friends will be held @ Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home in Snyder Texas on Thursday, September 30th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm
Funeral Services will be held @ Bell-Cypert-Seale in Snyder Friday, October 1st @ 10:00 am. Burial will follow @ 4:00 pm @ the Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger Texas.
Lunch for the family will be held @ Darlene & Harlon Amox residence. 2211 33rd Street Snyder Texas @ 11:30 am
Bobby W Burnett was born August 29th, 1935 in Ranger TX to Nathan & Opal Burnett. He moved to Snyder in the early 50"s. He was a member of the 37th Street Church of Christ. He was a volunteer Fireman and coached little league baseball for a number of years. He worked for Chevron (Sacroc Unit) for many years and retired in 1988. He opened Burnett Safety Services in 1981 and retired in 2007 after becoming ill. He moved to Abilene with his son, Mickey, until 2008 and then went to Conroe, TX with his daughter, Vickie, where he resided @ his time of death. His family was his life. He was a great dad, papa and friend. He will be missed very much by many.
He is survived by two sons, Mickey Burnett of Abilene TX and Tim Burnett of Crowley TX, one daughter Vickie Denson and husband Bill Denson of Conroe TX and their mother Patricia Collins of San Angelo, TX, one brother James Burnett of Oklahoma, 6 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren and his dogs Cocoa and Lexi.
He was preceded in death by his father Nathan Burnett, his mother and step father Opal & George Patton, two sisters Zona Gore and June Cox and his beloved dog Baby Girl.
