Thula Whatley

Thula Whatley, 87, former longtime Snyder resident died Wednesday morning at a Brownwood care center. Funeral Service will be at 2PM Friday at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Rev . Leroy Ochoa, Baptist minister officating. Interment will follow in Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.



Mrs. Whatley was born to the late L. R. and Lucy (Templin) Rainwater on March 7 1923 at Ira, Tx. She married D. B. Whatley on April 12, 1942 in Snyder. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1979. She had lived all of her life in Snyder and Scurry County until moving to Brownwood. She had worked at Walmart several years. She was a Baptist.



She is survived by:

2 Grandchildren,

Tana Whatley, of Waco

Todd Whatley of Brownwood



A daughter in law:

Alma Nell Whatley of Brownwood



2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
