Alta Irene Bavousett

Alta Irene Bavousett, 83 of Snyder, Texas died on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Snyder Healthcare Center in Snyder, Texas.

Funeral service for Mrs. Bavousett will be at 11 AM Saturday at Camp Spring Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

She was born September 12, 1927 in Comanche, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Fred & Virdie (McHenry) Gamblin. She was married to Scott Bavousett on April 24, 1948 in Lubbock He preceded her in death on October 23, 1991. She was a longtime Scurry County and Snyder resident.

Surviving are 2 sons & daughters-in-law; Dan & Carla Bavousett of Hermleigh, TX and Bob and Kim Bavousett of Houston, TX, her daughter, Jeri Bavousett of Seattle, WA; 3 granddaughters, Frances Burris and her husband Lucas of Austin, Crystal Price and her husband Joe, of Houston; Emily Bavousett of Snyder ; a great grandson Lucien Burris, of Austin. 2 sisters & brothers-in-law, Mary Jo & Gene Hilton of Of Colorado, and Betty Ann & George Miller of Lubbock, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
