Mr. Billy Glenn Rylander age 81, longtime Snyder resident died Saturday, October 09, 2010 in a Lewisville Medical Center after a sudden illness.

Services for Mr. Rylander will be at 2 PM Tuesday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Mr. Steve Barrett, minister at East Side Church of Christ officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens in Snyder under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mr. Rylander was born to the late Joe and Minnie (Ferguson) Rylander on November 7, 1928. He was married to Jeanette Ricardson on January 17, 1956 in New Mexico. She preceded him in death in 1982.

Mr. Rylander was a lifetime resident of Scurry County. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a retired farmer, a member of East Side Church of Christ. He had lived in Highland Village the past four years.

Survivors include:
2 Daughters:Tina Rylander and husband Michael Cox of Highland Village , TX; Cindy Looney and husband John of Lubbock, Tx.
three sisters; Bonita Hoyle, Kirkland NM, Juanita Campbell of Rowlett, Jean Marshall of Abilene.

3 Grandchildren: Jim-Britt Brown and wife Andrea of Fort Worth, Jeri Ann Brown of Lubbock, Joey Parnell of Carrollton, 2 great grandchildren; Sadie-Mae Brown, Colt Brown

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ryland was preceded by a brother, Joe Rylander, Jr.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 PM Monday at Bell-Cypert-Seale.
