Vondell King

Vondell King, age 91 of Killeen, TX, formerly of Snyder, died Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mrs. King will be at 10 AM Thursday at First Baptist Church Chapel with Rev. Randy Wallace, Pastor of First Baptist Church in Killeen officiating. Burial will follow in Snyder Cemetery with arrangements by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. King, was born February 15, 1919 at Frederick, Oklahoma to to Dalton & Vesta (Mannan) Jones.

She had been a resident of Snyder since June 1955. She married William P. "Bill" King on Novmeber 22, 1957 in Lovington, New Mexico. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught a Sunday School Class. Mrs. King was a homemaker and had been an insurance agent.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Ezell Fondren of Fort Smith, Ark. and one daughter, Merdell Ewing.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 PM Wednesday at Bell-Cypert-Seale .
