Georgia Nell Hammit

Georgia Nell Hammit, 85, of Snyder, TX, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Snyder Healthcare Center after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mrs. Hammit will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at 37th Street Church of Christ with Mr. Dale Huff officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hammit was born on January 01, 1925 to Luther Seymore Blythe and Sally (Heath) Blythe. She was a homemaker and a member of the 37th Street Church of Christ. She married William Calcin Hammit on October 17, 1976 in Snyder. He died in 1990.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, David L. Sellers in 1973; a granddaughter, Shehala Holder; and two grandsons, Shawn and Robbie Robinson.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Friday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
