Jack Thurston Harless

Jack T. Harless, 92 of Snyder, TX, died Monday, November 22, 2010 at his residence in Snyder, after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mr. Harless will be held at 2PM Friday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Reverend Byron Smith of Midland officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mr. Harless was born on January 06, 1918 in Scurry County to Benny Raymond and Ola Essie(Berry)Harless. He married Thadine Askins on January 18, 1941 in Snyder. Mr Harless was a mechanic for the Chevron gas plant. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corp serving in WWII. He was also a member of the American Legion and the First Baptist Church in Snyder.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Rita Harless on August 18, 2010; 2 sisters Bobby Newton and Ramona Reed.

Visitation will be from 1PM - 2PM Friday before the service at the funeral home.
