Bob Sutton

Bob Sutton age 79 of Lubbock, TX, died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Trust Point Hospital in Lubbock, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Funeral service for Mr. Sutton will be at 10 AM Tuesday at the Bell-Cypert-Seale chapel with Chaplain Paul Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mr Sutton was born to the late A. R. and Ruby (Grimmett) Sutton, Tuesday, June 09, 1931 in Muleshoe, Tx. He was married to Barbara Pierce November 30, 1952 in Snyder.

Mr. Sutton was a longtime resident of Snyder and Scurry County. He was a Korean War veteran, having served in the U. S. Marine Corp. during that conflict. He worked and managed Paymaster gin for many years and retired in 1993. At that time they moved to Brownwood Lake and lived there until 2006 when they moved to Lubbock. He was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Snyder.

In addition to his parents he was preceded by two brothers , Charles Dean Sutton and Floyd Sutton.
