Zelda Jo Atwood

Zelda Jo Atwood, 80 of Snyder, TX, died Monday, November 29, 2010 at Covenant Women and Children Hospital in Lubbock, Texas after a brief illness.

Services for Mrs. Atwood will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Culwell, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at 4PM at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham, Tx. under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Zelda Jo Atwood was born on Wednesday, February 19, 1930 in New Castle, TX. to Thomas and Etta(Webb)Helton. She married Don Atwood on June 11, 1953 in Graham, Tx. She worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church in Snyder.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Lillie Mae Burch; and 2 brothers, Floyd and Malcom Helton.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
