Opal Dorothy Lavender

Opal Dorothy Lavender age 78, a former Snyder resident died in Midland , Wednesday morning.

Services for Mrs. Lavender will be at 11 AM Friday at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Dr. Tommy Culwell, Pastor of the Colonial Hill Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Hillside Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lavender was born August 6, 1932 to the late Frank and Della (Tarter) Spitler. She was married to Dale Lavender on July 11, 1950 in Bailey County, Tx. He preceded her in January 1992.
She came to Snyder in 1971 and lived here until 2001 when she moved to Midland. She was a retired schoolteacher and had taught in the Snyder ISD for 25 years. She was a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 Thursday at Bell-Cypert-Seale F. H.
