Doris Laverne Jones

Doris Laverne Jones age 64 of Hermleigh, TX, died January 13, 2011 at Valley Fair Nursing Home in Colorado City, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mrs. Jones will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Highfield of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Hermleigh Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones was born on Thursday, July 18, 1946 in Crosby County, Texas to Eddie and Bessie (McCauley) Gill. She married Ray Jones on October 15, 1964 in Snyder, Texas. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by a son; Alan Jones, a brother; Robert McCauley, a sister; Wanda Lindsey, and a great grandchild; Kylye Billberry.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
