Anna Mae Sherrod

Anna Mae "Bessie" Sherrod age 80 of Snyder, TX, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mrs. Sherrod will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Mosley retired baptist minister from Abilene officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sherrod was born on Saturday, November 29, 1930 in Mexia, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Scurry County and a member of the Union Baptist Church. She married L.J. Sherrod on November 26, 1947 in Peacock, Texas. He passed away in 1988.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 5 siblings.

1 Grand Son - Jack Sherrod, Midland, TX
2 Great Grandchildren - Addison & Aidan Sherrod, Midland, TX
1 Sister - Deola Miles, Memphis, TN
2 Brothers - Joe & Ernie Melton, both of Phoenix, AZ

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
