Nell Holdren

Nell Holdren, 83, of Snyder, TX, died Saturday, February 05, 2011 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, Texas brief illness.

Services for Mrs. Holdren, will be at 2pm Tuesday at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Dr. Tommy Culwell , pastor of Colonial Hill Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemtery under the directikon of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holdren, was born January 12, 1928 to the late Ross Sterling Pate and Ethel (Reic) Pate. She was a lifetime Scurry County resident. She was married to J. W. "Son" Holdren on June 6, 1946 in Sweetwater. He preceded her in death on January 25, 1986. Mrs. Holdren worked a number of years at Hall Drug, and Mundens. She later worked as a supervisor in the composing room at Snyder Daily News. She retired after 20 years.

In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded a sister, Linda White, and by an infant brother, Welton Ross Pate.
