Avanell Keller

Gladys Avanell Keller age 87 of Snyder died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Snyder Healthcare Center.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Keller will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 17 at Snyder Cemetery with Mr Dwaine Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mrs. Keller was born in Snyder on September 11, 1923 to the late Robert and Jessie (Cooper) White. She was married to E. L. Keller on March 26, 1948 in Snyder. He preceded her in death in 1987. She was a homemaker for many years before working in retail sales at Thompson Shoes and later Dryden Shoes. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught childrens" Bible study for a number of years.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Joe Mark Keller in 1973; 2 sisters, Veda Sumruld in 1973 and Bobbye Greene in 2010
