Nelda Baze

Nelda Baze age 66 of Ira, TX, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at her home in Ira.

Funeral service for Mrs. Baze will be at 2PM Wednesday at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Pastor Rocky Alexander of the Ira Church of God officiating.

Mrs. Baze was May 02, 1944 to the late M. B. "Dude" Pevehouse and Mildred (Allen) Pevehouse. She was a lifetime resident of Ira . She was married to James Darvin Baze on March 13, 1964 in Stanton Texas. Mrs. Baze retired LVN having worked in that profession for over 40 years, working may years at Cogdell Memorial Hospital and also at the home care agencies. She was a member of the Ira Church of God.

Grandchildren: Tass Baze, of Snyder; Tyler Baze and wife Britteny, of Snyder; Zach Baze, Panhandle, Tx; Kallie Lindsey, Summer Lindsey and Kasey Lindsey, all of Panhandle; James, Audie and Vivian Baze, all of Ira; Tabitha and Anthony Jones;
R. J. Kenner and wife Desiree, Fort Bliss, TX; Samantha Keener-Gunter,Snyder; Brennen Baze and Lee Ann Barnes, MacClenny Fl.

9 Great Grandchildren:
Maeci, Maedi, Jaelynn, Jaeli, Kayden, Paeden, Layden, and Kingston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Edward Pevehouse and Thomas Gene Pevehouse. Also a brother in law, R. J. Chapa preceded her.



Visitation will be from 6 to 7 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
