Eddie Reece Mchaney

Eddie McHaney age 72 of Hermleigh, TX, died April 11, 2011 at his residence in Hermleigh, Texas after a sudden illness.

Services for Mr. McHaney will be held at 10AM Thursday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Rev. T.J. Harkness and Rev. Grant Goodrich officiating. Interment will follow in the Lone Wolf Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. McHaney was born on September 29, 1938 in Scurry County to Harry Reece and Mavis (Schuler) McHaney. He married Welda Kay Bills on November 16, 1976 in Snyder. Mr. McHaney was a retired Scurry County Auditor having worked for 10 years and an accountant for Ammaco Oil overseas for 8 years and was also a farmer. He was a graduate of Hardin Simmons University and was a lifetime member of Hermleigh and the Central Baptist Church in Hermleigh.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Donald Ray.

Visitation will be from 7PM to 8PM on Wednesday at Bell-Cypert-Seale.
