Juan Fierro Silvas

Juan Fierro Silvas, 77, longtime
Snyder resident, died Friday
in Covenant Medical Center
in Lubbock.

Services for Mr. Silvas will be
at 2 p.m. Monday at Our Lady
of Guadalupe Catholic Church
where he was a member with
Deacon Robert Ramirez presiding.
Burial will follow in the
Snyder Cemetery under the
direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale.

Rosary for Mr. Silvas is at 6
p.m. Sunday in the Bell-Cypert-
Seale Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born Feb. 27, 1934 in
Ruidosa, Tx. To Rosalio and
Loretta Lopez Silvas., who both
preceded him in death. He also
was preceded in death by his
wife, Epifania Silvas; two brothers,
Manual and Pedro Chaidez;
and one sister, Antonio Martinez.
He was a construction laborer
for E.D. Walton Construction
and Holder Construction.

Mr. Silvas is survived by two
sisters, Fransisca Reyes of Snyder
and Nancy Martinez of San
Angelo; two brothers, Simon
Quiroz and Emiliano Chaidez,
both of Snyder; 12 step children
and numerous nieces and nephews.
