Thomas Dutton Hester

Thomas Dutton "Tommy" Hester age 74 of Snyder, TX, died Sunday at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

Graveside services for Mr. Hester will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Hilllside Memorial Gardens with Mr. Tom Holcomb officiating under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Thomas Dutton Hester was born on Thursday, February 04, 1937 in Hamlin, Tx. to Helon and Notie (Dutton) Hester. He graduated Hamlin High School in 1955. He had lived in Snyder since 1961. He was a market manager for over 30 years for Everybody"s Grocery and worked as a Correctional Officer at the Price Daniel Unit for several years before retiring. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
