Shae Marie Gowin

Shae Marie Gowin age 38 of Lubbock, died Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas after a sudden illnes



Memorial service for Miss Gowin will be at 2PM Thursday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Adams, pastor officating. He will be assisted by Jerald Garner, Jon Patrick and Rev. David Cozart. Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Miss Gowin was born January 08, 1973 in Snyder. She graduated from Sndyer High School in 1991. She then attended Western Texas College for two years going on to graduate with a bachelors degree from Howard Payne University. She later received her Masters Degree from Abilene Christian University graduating Magna Cum Laude. She worked about eight years in Abilene before moving to Lubbock where she was employed by Bair Foundation where worked as a clinical director. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Snyder and was active in the youth group at Colonial Hill Baptist Church during high school.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bud Scarbrough and Sam and Dorothy Gowin.

Sister - Kara Gowin, Snyder, TX
Maternal Grandmother - Jessie Scarbrough, Snyder, TX
Nephew - Ethan Gowin, Snyder, TX


Visitation will in Wesley Hall following the memorial service.
