Ronda Laverne Anderson

Ronda Anderson age 86 of Snyder died August 05, 2011 at Valley Fair Nursing Home in Colorado City, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mrs. Anderson will be at 2PM Sunday at 37the Street Church of Christ with Mr. Dale Huff officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mrs. Anderson was born on Sunday, September 14, 1924 in Greer County, Oklahoma to Homer Robert and Jessie (Nippert) Rogers. She married Buster Anderson on November 6, 1943. He died February 24, 1997.They lived in California while Buster served in the Merchant Marines. Then moved back to Oklahoma where Buster taught school and coached, then to Spearman, Texas where Buster was a tax collector and business manager of the schools. In 1955 Ronda moved to Kansas where Buster worked for Boeing. They moved to Odessa in 1957 where Buster served as the business manger of Odessa Jr. College. While in Odessa, Buster joined a CPA firm and moved to Snyder in 1960 to start a branch office. Ronda took an active part in Buster"s accounting business and spent 40 years doing accounting and tax returns.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Foy and Ralph Rogers, and her sister Helen Lively all of Mangum, Oklahoma.

Visitation will be from 6PM to 7PM Saturday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the WTC scholarship fund or the Snyder Boys and Girls Club.
