Frances Ellen Gruben

Frances Ellen Gruben age 81 of Abilene, TX, died Sunday, October 02, 2011 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene, Texas

Services for Mrs. Gruben will be at 2 PM Tuesday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Dr.Tommy Culwell officiating. Interment will follow in Dunn Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gruben was born on Nobember 16, 1929 in Snyder to the late William Cecil Eades and Dessie Lillian White Eades.
Mrs Gruben was a longtime resident of Snyder prior to moving to Abilene in December of 2010. She was married to O. C. McCormack in Roby on March 5, 1948 and he died on October 23, 1959. She later married Wilton Carl Gruben at Union on February 5, 1967 and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1978. Mrs. Gruben was a beautician and had worked as a sale person including at K-Mart until its closing. Slhe was a longtime member of North College Baptist Church.

In addition to her husbands, and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Willie May Fatout.
