Tommy Don Wemken

Tommy Don Wemken age 65 of Odessa died Monday, October 17, 2011 at Methodist Texsan Hospital in San Antonio, after a sudden llness.

Funeral service Mr. Wemken will be at 2pm Friday at the First Baptist Church in Hermleigh with Rev. Alan Culp, pastor officiating . Interment will follow in Lone Wolf Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

He was born on August 14, 1946 in Roscoe to the late Don V. and Katherine Bowen Wemken. Mr. Wemken was a longtime resident of Odessa. He owned a snack bar at the Sherwood Lanes Bowling Alley in Odessa for thirty-three years as well as working the front desk there. He served in the Army National Guard and was a member of the Andy G. Vaugh #1421 Masonic Lodge in Odessa. He was a Baptist.
