Janelle Orr

Janelle Orr age 70 of Snyder, passed away Thursday, November 03, 2011 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Funeral service for Mrs. Orr will be at 10 am Saturday at the First Baptisit Church with Rev. Clayton Griggs officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mrs. Orr was born August 9, 1941 at Lissie Texas to the late Victor and Sophie Richter. She moved to Hermleigh at an early age. She was married to Alvin Orr on April 4, 1981 in Ruidoso NM. She was a longtime employee of the Snyder National/Community Bank of Snyder and served as assistant Vice President. She and Alvin were longtime members of the Pharr West Hitchhikers Travel Club.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Flo Ritcher.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 on Friday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
