Texa Jones Ball

Texa (Jones) Ball age 89 of Snyder, TX, died Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder.

Funeral service for Mrs. Ball will be 2 PM Friday at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with Mr. Bob Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ball was born December 26, 1921 in Snyder to the late C. C. Myers and Trannie Elizabeth Stewart Myers and had lived most of her life here. She was married to Robert L. "Ted" Jones on February 27, 1936 in Snyder. He died in April 1981. She later married H. C. "Duke" Ball on April 17 1986 in Snyder. She was a member of the 37th Street Church of Christ and was very active in the Scurry County Senior Center. She was active in the kitchen band and the Sunshine Choir at the center. She was active in the Cogdell Auxilliary(Pink Ladies). She was a retired school employee having worked in the cafeteria for over 26 years.

She was preceded a grandson Dickie Clinkenbeard and by siblings, Allon Myers, Hubert Myers , C. C. Myers and Alma Myers.


Visitation will be from 6 to 7 Thursday at Bell-Cypert-Seale. .
