June Mcglaun

June McGlaun age 83 of Snyder, died Monday, December 26, 2011 at Valley Fair Nursing Home in Colorado City, Texas after a lengthy illness.

A Graveside service for Mrs. McGlaun will be held 2PM on Thursday at Snyder Cemetery with Rev. James Merrell and Rev. Brian Adams officiating. Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McGlaun was born on May 26, 1928 in Abilene to the late Frank Fain Hale and Minta Frances (Bartley) Hale. She married Jack McGlaun on July 25,1950 in Abilene TX. She was a graduate of Abilene High School and McMurray University. Mrs.McGlaun was a retired teacher having taught elementary school in Snyder. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma International, Texas State Teachers Association and the National Education Association. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church and the Nancy Caton Sunday School Class. Mrs. McGlaun was a very active member in the Scurry County Historical Society.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7pm Wednesday
