Wanda Louise Nixon

Wanda Louise Nixon age 64 of Hermleigh, TX, died Wednesday, January 04, 2012 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock after a lengthy illness. Services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at Central Baptist Church in Hermleigh with Reverend T. J. Harkness pastor of Central Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hermleigh Cemetery in Hermleigh, Texas under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.


She was born July 18, 1947 in Clovis, NM to the late Claude Nixon and Doris Imogene (Hawkins) Nixon. She had been a resident of Hermleigh for a number of years and was a retired School teacher.

She is survived by:
Daughter - Edith Nixon, Of Georgia,
Grandson - Jonathan Nixon, Hermleigh, TX
Brother - Nick Nixon, Lubbock, TX
