Helen Price

Mrs. Helen Price age 89 of Snyder, TX, died Monday, January 09, 2012 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, Texas after a brief illness.

Services for Mrs. Helen Price will be held at 2PM Thursday at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Culwell, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Funeral Home.

Mrs. Price was born on March 31, 1922 in Alvarado, TX to the late William Thomas Anderson and Drucilla (Hardcastle) Anderson. She married Joe T. Price onTuesday, January 15, 1946 in Levelland TX.

Mrs. Price worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" at General Dynamics during World War II. She had a great love for quilting and ceramics. She also loved playing bingo, wahoo, dominoes and cherished every family gathereing. After working at Highland Bakery for many years, she ended her career as an employee of Wal-Mart, receiving her twenty year pin at age 85.

She was preceded by six brothers and four sisters.
