Roberto Luna Vera

Roberto Luna Vera age 80 of Snyder, TX, died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Snyder Oaks Care Center in Snyder after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mr. Vera will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church with Father Roy Badillas officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Vera was born on February 07, 1931 in Rio Hondo, TX to Rafael and Carlotta (Luna) Vera. He married Maria Garcia in 1945 in Chicago, IL. She preceded him in death on March 8, 2008. Mr. Vera was a cook, janitor, and worked in the oilfield.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Rafael Vera; and 4 sisters, Herlinda Gutierrez, Theodora Vera, Aurora Vera, and Aparicia Vera.

Rosary will be Friday, January 27, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Deacon Frank Ortegon.
