Patsy Dean Weems

Services for Mrs. Patsy Dean Weems will be held at 2PM Wednesday at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tony Wofford officiating. Interment will follow in the Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 1PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Patsy Dean Kiker Weems was born in Rotan, Texas November 21, 1933 to Joe and Dee (Goodwin) Kiker. She went to be with the Lord on Monday March 26, 2012 after passing away at home.

Patsy graduated from Rotan High Schol in 1950. She married her high school sweetheart, Bernard (Boxie) Weems on February 2, 1951. After college at McMurry and an 18 month Army stay in Germany they returned to Texas. Boxie coached around the state before they settled in Snyder in 1968.

Patsy and Boxie have two Children, Kayla and Bernie of Snyder. They also have two grandchildren Amanda Rose and Chad Chenowith.

Patsy was the executive secretary to the resident engineer of the Texas Highway Department for 30 years. Patsy and Boxie enjoyed traveling and visiting after their retirement until Patsy became ill. They were lifetime members of the Methodist Church.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents, Dee and Joe Kiker, and her in laws Virginia and Lonnie Weems, all of Rotan.
