C.S. Posey

C.S. "Strick" Posey age 86 of Snyder died Thursday, June 07, 2012 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness.

Services for Mr. Posey will be held on Saturday, June 09, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Mr. Steve Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Posey was born on April 30, 1926 in Ozona, TX to Cyrus Gunn and Mary Annette (Stricklen) Posey. He married Alma Faye Manning on September 02, 1946 in Van Horn, Texas. He was a field gauger for Chevron Pipe having retired after 33 years. Mr. Posey was a WWII veteran having served in the Navy as a Seaman 1st Class. He was also a Blue Lodge Mason and a member of the East Side Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother; Sam Posey.
