Mr. Manuel Cardiel Realzola, 69, of Snyder, died Monday, June 18, 2012 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness.
Mr. Realzola was born on June 28, 1942 in Pena Blanca, Zacatecas, Mexico to Apolonio and Rosa Cardiel (Padilla) Realzola. He married Soledad Simental on Jan., 7, 1963 in Valparaiso, Zacatecas, Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Apolonio and Rosa Cardiel (Padilla) Realzola; an infant son, Martin Realzola; a brother, Mauricio Realzola; and two nephews, Jaime Realzola and Mauricio Realzola Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Soledad of Snyder; two daughters, Criselda Bernal and her husband, Alfonso, of Big Spring and Mary Lou Zorola and her husband, Jose III, of Snyder; two sons, Johnny Realzola and his wife, Regina, of Snyder and Jimmy Realzola of Richardson. He is also survived by four granddaughters, Marissa Alvarez, Ashley Fuentez, Milagros Zorola and Amber Bernal; six grandsons, Adrian Alvarez. Jose Zorola IV, Ryan, Aaron and Michael Realzola and Alfonso James Bernal; and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Angel Realzola of Illinois; and a sister, Carmen Luna of Denver, Colo.
Mr. Realzola worked in construction in the oilfield for many years and worked with the Cursillista church group.
Service for Mr. Realzola will be held on Thursday, June 21, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadelupe Catholic Church with Father Roy Badillas officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
A rosary will be held Wednesday, June 20, at 7 p.m. at the Bell- Cypert-Seale Chapel with Deacon Frank Ortegon officiating.
