Emily Bavousett

Emily Leanne Bavousett, after a long, valiant fight with Crohns
disease, lost her battle June 18, 2012 in a Lubbock hospital. Emily was born July 30, 1980 in Snyder and lived in Scurry County most of her life.
A memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 14, 2012 at 2PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Reverend Henry Walton officiating.
Survivors include her mother and father, Carla and Dan Bavousett of Camp Springs; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Lucas Burris of Austin; two nephews, Lucien and William Burris; her grandmother, Lila Guinn; aunts and uncles, Robbie and John Odom, Bob and Kim Bavousett, Hal and Regina Guinn and Jeri Bavousett; a very special great-aunt and cousin, Maxine and Michelle Burk; cousins, Crystal and Joe Price, Patrick and Bethany Odom, Nicole and Marshall
Adams, Brian Odom and Willie, Mary, Katie and Kevin Guinn; special family friends, Wayne and Marlene Beck and Johnny Ballard; and many great-aunts, great-uncles and great-cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Carl Guinn; and her paternal grandparents, Scott and Alta Bavousett.
The family asks that memorials be made to the Snyder Volunteer Fire
Department, Crohns research or a favorite charity.
Emily donated her body to the Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine.
