Modez Murphy

Mrs. Lula Modez Murphy age 80 of Snyder, TX, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene, Texas after a brief illness.

Services for Mrs. Murphy will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Murphy was born on Friday, January 08, 1932 in Epps, LA to William Travis and Virgil Estelle (Mize) Turner.She married Fred Murphy on Saturday, October 28, 1950 in St. Joseph, Louisiana. He preceded her in death October 21, 2003. She worked for Safeway as a cashier for 20 years and was a dedicated wife and mother.
