Mary Evelyn Hanson

Mary Evelyn Hanson age 91 of Clyde,Tx , formerly of Hermleigh and Snyder, died Friday, July 06, 2012 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas after a sudden illness.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday , July 8, 2012 at Hillside Memorial Gardens at 2 pm, in Snyder, Tx with Mickey Winter officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hanson was born on , August 15, 1920 in Knox City, TX to Ouela Kimball and Mayme( Brown) Davis. She married Marvin Hanson Jr. on April 03, 1943 in Lubbock, Texas. They lived in the Dunn and Hermleigh community from 1952 thru 1987. In 1988, the Hansons resided in Snyder until 2000, in which they then moved to Clyde. She was a Prayer Warrior who loved the Lord and taught Sunday School for over 40 years. She was a homemaker and loving mother, grand mother and great grand mother.

She is survived by:
Two Daughters and sons in law, Mary and James Naizer of Clyde, TX and
Virginia and Sonny Darden of Eastland, TX.
Six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin on May 31, 2001, her parents, Ouela and Mayme Davis, one daughter Marvis McClain and one brother Kimball Davis.
