Mary Edith Greene

Mrs. Mary Edith Greene, age 82, formally of Snyder, Texas passed away Friday, September 07, 2012 at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco , California after a brief illness.

Services for Mrs. Greene, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel ,with Dr. Tommy Culdwell, Pastor of Colonial Hill Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Greene was born on Friday, February 21, 1930 in Snyder, TX to William Hardy and Coy Swanee (Shepard) Scarborough. She graduated from Snyder High School in 1947, and worked as an office clerk for oil companies in Snyder, Houston, and New
Orleans. She married James Wade Greene on Wednesday, December 20, 1972 and had lived in California for the past 47 years. Mr. Greene preceded her in death in 2004.
