Mary Magdalene Abbott age 88 of Snyder, TX, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Services for Mary Magdalene Abbott will be held on Saturday, February 01, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating. Interment will follow at Willow Cemetery in Haskell, TX at 3:00 PM under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Abbott was born on July 13, 1925 in Ada, Ok to George and Lillie (Moore) Morris. She married Chester Abbott on April 05, 1947 in Ada, Ok. He preceded her in death on 10-1997. Mrs. Abbott was a mathematics teacher for Snyder for 14 years, Weinert, TX for 12 years and Knox City, TX for 2 years. She was a member of TSTA and Scurry County Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband
Two Sisters, Maciel Sorrels and Alta Jones
Two Brothers, James Morris and Leon Morris

Visitation will be Friday, January 31, 2012 from 6PM to 7PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made to West Texas Rehab, American Cancer Society or any charity of choice.
