Henry Dawson Moreland

Henry Dawson Moreland age 95 of Ballinger, TX, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at Ballinger Health and Rehab in Ballinger after a lengthy illness.

Graveside services for Henry will be held on Sunday, February 02, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Rev. Randy Gressett officiating. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Moreland was born on Monday, April 15, 1918 in Norton. He served om the US Army Air Corp during World War II, flying many missions over Europe. He was also a member of the 440th Troop Carrier Squadron. He married Alma Mae Williamson on June 16, 1943 in Nashville, TN. They then made their home in Snyder, TX. Alma passed away in June 1987.

Mr. Moreland served as Postmaster in Snyder for many years before his retirement. In 1988, he married Ruth Kee in Ballinger. In 2000, they moved from Snyder to Ballinger, where they made their home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and Alma

Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 6 PM to 7 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home .
