Bill Sikes

Bill Sikes age 80 of Snyder, TX, passed away Sunday, March 02, 2014 at Cogdell Memorial Hospital in Snyder, Texas after a sudden illness.

Services for Mr. Sikes will be held on Wednesday, March 05, 2014 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

Mr. Sikes was born on September 22, 1933 in Brown County, TX to Ulas Hubert and Stella (Guthrie) Sikes. He married Rona Bley on January 12, 1957 in Snyder, Texas. He was a US Navy veteran having served from 1952-1955. He worked as an equipment operator for Scurry County for over 20 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Snyder.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister- Louise Hellums; and brother- Cletus Byrd.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 04, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
